1. Understanding Home Occupation Licenses
This license permits business activity at your residence, as long as operations remain secondary and within residential character. Licenses are valid for the calendar year and must be renewed annually.

- Proof of residency: deed, lease, or utility bill
- Georgia driver’s license or state ID matching your business address
- Affidavit verifying lawful presence & E‑Verify compliance (if over 10 employees)
- Fees:
- Base fee: $100 (1–5 employees)
- Admin fee: $25

3. Compliance Requirements
- Sign and follow the Customary Home Occupation Agreement—max 25% of home used for business.
- Only household residents may work onsite; no external employees.
- Strict limits on signage, parking, visits, and outdoor storage to maintain neighborhood character.
- Business activities such as food prep or medical services from home are restricted or prohibited.
